Their love is like a bullet, it could end both of them...or maybe just one of them. • His eyes flicker to my lips- quickly back to my eyes. "Maybe I'm waiting for a thank you." I smiled. Who does he think I am. "You want gratitude for tackling me?" "No, for keep your pretty little ass alive." The way he says it isn't gentle. It's possessive. And it shouldn't sound the way it does in my stomach. • "To love her is treason. To let her go is war." Started 10/29/2025

What happens in Vegas... definitely doesn't stay in Vegas. What was supposed to be a peaceful family cruise turns into unexpected madness when a flight delay lands Yara, Sevion, and their wild crew in Las Vegas for two nights. With custom T-shirts, loud personalities, and deep southern charm, the group takes the strip by storm-sequins, gospel trap music, and all. But when the sun rises over the desert city, Morgan wakes up with a headache, a wedding ring, and a half-naked Savior beside her. One impulsive night. One very real marriage license. And two stubborn hearts trying to piece together what the hell just happened-and what happens next. Filled with laughter, love, tequila-fueled confessions, and a whole lot of sass, this is a romantic comedy novella that proves sometimes the wildest detours lead you right where you belong.

Mishelle Jackson wasn't your typical 'nerd'. She was a smart mouthed, quick witted, glasses wearing Black girl that came in a curvy package. Her main problem though: she had a pension for helping those in need. When the star quarterback needs some study help, she jumps at the opportunity. No matter how irritating and unavailable he might be. Excerpt: My eyes spring open as I scramble out of Deshaun's embrace. This was definitely no angel. No, this was a doberman shepherd in a 18-year-olds body. "You know my name is not Molly," I say. My hands on my hip as I rolled my neck at the boy. "That doesn't sound like a thank you mamas," his deep voice lets out. The sound as smooth as his rich, coffee-colored skin (before the creamer.) Mamas? That must work on the hoes around here. Girl, you know you felt a tingle stop playing. Like hell I did! My stare hardens on the dread head in front of me, in the dimness of the library he seemed darker than usual, his tattoos melding into one as he takes a step towards me. I pretended my heart didn't race as he stepped into my space, his vanilla and mint scent enveloping my senses. "You got a lot of sass on you," he says. "For a nerd." (A/N: Time Skip in story, the characters are not in HS the entire plot)

I hear Timothy huff. "Come back to the house voluntarily and I'll go easy on you for your punishment." He sounds bored. I guess he's not enjoying running after me anymore. Still I ignore him and continue to walk forward. My walk is more like a drunken wobble now. Everything hurts. I get a few feet further before he pulls me back by my hair. "Stop being stubborn." It feels like he's trying to pull my hair from my scalp. I scream and scratch at his hands. "Let me go!" "You like it when I chase after you. Huh, Rose." He's breathing hard. Oh my god. This is really how I'm going to die. He pushes me onto the ground then grabs my leg. I grab and claw at the ground as he starts to drag me back towards the house. Stones, roots and dirt rub against my body scratching me. I can't continue to be dragged like this. We are at least three miles away from his house. "Let me up, I can walk!" I can barely recognize my own voice. It's so raw. He continues to drag me for a little while longer before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. My body hangs from his limp. When we arrive at the house he takes me straight to his bedroom. He tosses me on the bed like I'm a pillow making my head bang against the headboard. I grab my head and cover my face. "Strip." He breaks the silence. This is darker than Mia.
