A long time ago before humans roamed the earth there lived dragons and their hatchlings and drakes. They feasted on living animals of the water and land and proud to be able to touch the sky. All of them were different shades of colors and some even bore two or three different colors and all of them sparkled in the sun. One year there was a dark hatchling that when he became a drake and wondered into the sun did not shine. He was the only dragon born that could not shine and was named Dark One by the elders. Years down the road he took his name and used it against all the other dragons and chose to follow an evil path of hatred. One year he left his weir and ventured to other lands to find a home for him. He would find young female dragons and use them just to leave them before she laid her clutch of eggs. Most of them would abandon the eggs and others destroyed them. All except for one female who decided it was not the fault of her young ones that he had left. She decided to keep her clutch and raise them herself without the help of the Dark One that had used her. And thus our story begins ...
