Shadow and Rouge have been partners and "friends" for years now. But when GUN sends them on a undercover mission, the line between their Professional and Personal relationship is at question. Hearts will be broken. Secrets revealed, and what will the fate of this Shadouge be? (Its a story around their missions for GUN, and how they progress to Shadouge.) This is my story for the fanfiction contest - @ShadougeTeam (Shadouge Official). For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story. Due to the deadline to submit the fanfic, I had to make changes to the original ideas I had for the story. Flashbacks were shortened and were counted by the characters themselves. I removed some parts and characters. Maybe one day I will rewrite this story. the cover art was made by me and can be found on my deviantart.

Rouge get her heartbroken when she finds Knuckles cheating on her with a man and files for a divorce. She and her friends decide to head off on a girls weekend where she meets a dark figure with ruby red eyes.

Shadow The Hedgehog doesn't necessarily understand the concept and reason behind Valentine's Day, and frankly, he doesn't care. But for the past few years, he's spent Valentine's Day with his teammate Rouge The Bat. During this time, he's had to watch chick flicks, eat chocolate, and smell the scent of roses excessively. Even though the white bat celebrates the holiday quite well, Rouge always seems to be missing something: A Valentine. Shadow has heard about how her friends would get gifts and such from their lovers, so he decides to give in to the clichés of Valentine's Day to please his teammate. But, don't get the wrong idea, the only reason why he's doing this is because no one is good enough for Rouge. Except the Ultimate Lifeform, of course. Warning: Contains mild language. In the outskirts of Station Square, an ebony hedgehog by the name Shadow, lives a life not many can understand. A friend of his named Rouge the Bat will try anything to comfort the poor hedgehog. Can the hedgehog deal with all the memories that taunt him? Will he live the life of the tortured? Find out!

In a timeline where Generations is for Sonic's 20th birthday, Shadow remains bitter over having to say farewell to Maria again. In the months following, the Ultimate Life-Form goes on a mission to find the power of the Time Eater to see them again. Rouge the Bat, knowing Shadow was hurting after the events of Generations, worriedly searches for him. (My wife and I collaborated on this after the Shadouge moments in Shadow Generations; we both met over shipping Shadouge. )

Shadow hasn't had it easy, but his life has gotten better. However, just when things are going well for Shadow, tragedy rears its ugly head. Shadow begins to lose faith in the world ... and himself. Will he give up. Or will someone help him pull through?

Shadow and Rouge have been friends for a long time, each too scared to confess their feelings for each other. As the years go by, can they overcome what's put in front of them or will they lose what they already have? (Contains serious topics and language)

After Eggman incidentally defeats Silver the Hedgehog, he's giddy to celebrate his haphazard victory at a luxurious, villains-only hotel. Unfortunately for him, the party doesn't last long when Rouge the Bat resets the time paradox.
