He learned early that hunger doesn't always mean food. Sometimes, it's the silence of an empty room... the absence of a voice calling your name... the feeling of standing in a crowd and still having no one. By day, he is just another student-quiet, unnoticed, chasing marks and a dream he isn't sure he can afford. By night, he carries a delivery bag heavier than it looks, walking past bright homes that were never meant for him. He doesn't complain. He doesn't expect. Because life has already taught him-nothing stays. Until one door opens... and someone looks at him not with pity, but with warmth. For the first time, he is asked to stay. For the first time, someone waits for him. For the first time, "home" doesn't feel like a distant word. But when you've lived your whole life believing you don't belong anywhere... accepting love can be the hardest thing of all. Maybe some people aren't born into families. Maybe... they find them.

This story revolves around twin brothers, Desmond and Demetrius, and their six older brothers. Here's the catch neither side knows the other exists. The twins have never met their father, and after years of silence, he finally decides to reveal the truth he's kept buried for eighteen years. During dinner, his oldest son, Vukasin, slams his hand on the table. "Tsk. You old bastard, you decide to tell us this now? Really? Over dinner?" His tone drips with disgust. "Eighteen years, Father. You waited eighteen years to tell us this?" The table falls silent. Vukasin glares across at him. "So what now? You want me to bring them back, huh? Can't do it yourself, can you? You always send me to fix your broken pieces." As Vukasin pushes his chair back and rises from the table, his father and younger brothers remain silent just as they always do. He's already made up his mind. He's going to find his younger brothers. Lord knows if they're living in good conditions or not, but one thing's for sure he's bringing them back, whether they like it or not. (Currently editing the story)
