This is dedicated to the broken hearted. The lost ones. The ones who feel unloved, unwanted, unnoticed. The ones who feel invisible. The ones who sit in their rooms with silent tears rolling down their cheeks. The ones who cry themselves to sleep every night. The ones who have no idea what to do with themselves most of the time. The ones who rarely get beautiful dreams in place of the nightmares that haunt their every day and night. The ones who have limited hope. This is dedicated to the ones like me.

    Parts 1
Sitting in a room of darkness, the girl sang. She sang quietly at first, but as her confidence in her strong voice grew, so did her volume. The dogs started barking, but she paid no mind. Her dogs were of great worth to her, and they remained very dear to her heart. However, they often barked at the strangest things; ranging from the chickens behind to house and roaming in-between various homes to a horseback rider trotting through the dusty streets. This time it was an alarm, though. Her mother was in the front washing clothes in the bin when she saw what the dogs were barking at. She rushed to the girl's room in a panic. "Hush, Thalia. Your father is coming," she warned before rushing back to the clothes. The girl quickly became silent and began to clean up what she could see of her little possessions in the dark room. Her father was the only one allowed to light candles in the house, so she must wait for him to come home in order to see properly in the house. She heard the door open quietly; another round of barking following. Thalia finally stood up and walked to the doorway, waiting for her father. She heard her mother stop washing and ask her father if he wanted her to make hot soup. His soft grunt approving of his next meal. Thalia heard the dogs following him into the living room; he dropped his bag onto the floor and sat heavily into his chair in front of the fire. Thalia's heart dropped. When he forgot to light her candles, it was usually a bad day. ============================== More parts coming soon! Let me know how it is and I'll try to add new parts as soon as possible. Added parts will come as frequently as I can write down the words on paper from my head. (3
