I shuddered as he described the feeling of my hair, giving him more reason to smirk. That smirk... That damn smirk! Something snapped in me as I saw the way the assassin looked at me then my brother. I couldn't help it, I started forward, ignoring my brother's warnings and pleas for me to stop. I walked calmly up to the man, like I was leaving the room casually. I stopped one foot from him, looked up into his face and smiled the brightest, kindest, gentlest smile I could before lunging at him with a letter opener from my brother's desk aimed for his throat, I missed. I hit his heart instead. He was dead, I was covered in blood and still smiling, my brother was staring at me with a mix of horror and shock. I just killed someone... With my own hands. My smile twisted into something sinister and dark. I had enjoyed that; I had enjoyed killing a man. As I turned to face my brother, the smile fell from my face and I looked up to him, scared to death by what I had done. -I'm trying to make this a book, I'm posting the prologue here to see what people think-
