Nini Salazar-Roberts is your typical, popular high school girl. The abundance in friends, the snobby first impression. She's required to get a summer job to earn some college credit. What she didn't know is that Ricky Bowen, a nerd who secretly admires her, works alongside her. What will happen when they both have to leave their past and work together?

Nini Salazar- Roberts is an 18 year old singer-songwriter who has recently taken her claim to fame under the guidance of Jamie Porter, a friends brother. As school in California becomes more overwhelming, she decides to return to SaltLake city, where the wildcats, blissfully unaware of her arrival, prepare for the spring musical. But, when she returns, there's more in store for Nini then she expected. And she finds herself falling for an East High junior with a passion for dance.
