(Contest Entry- Oneshot) Roses are spectacular flowers. Depending on the color and quantity, they could mean any number of things to the person whom they are given to. You had a certain affection for the delicate things. You didn't care much to know the meanings of them, but you loved the roses themselves and how they made you feel. You had ever since you were little. Every day, when you came home, you would rush straight to your room. There was a single window in the room, and one day you had come home to find a pink rose laying gently on your window's ledge. Thinking it a mistake, you threw the flower away and didn't think twice about it... Until the very next day when you came home to see yet another delicate pink rose on your windowsill. After that, when you would get home from school, there would be a rose waiting for you. Sometimes the color of the rose would change, but you didn't think about that too much.
