In a not-so distant future American society, life seems perfect. Unemployment rates have reached 1% and crime rates have hit an all-time low. Ironically because once a year, all crime is legal for 12 hours. Many participate, while others try and hide. James Tate used to be the one to hide and protect himself. But one Purge Night changed all that. Now it's that night of the year again, and James has a goal in mind. The only question he asks himself is if he can accomplish this goal while surviving the night. The Purge is trademarked by Universal Studios. This story is a fan-written novel based on the premise of the motion picture. WARNING: CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE AND ACTIONS. Set in a Purge AU. Morgan, a young woman, has dedicated the past 5 years of her life to preparing. The justice system failed her a long time ago. When her attacker avoided any prison time, she made a decision to make her own justice. So one Purge night, she heads out to find him. However, it's a bit harder outside on that night than she had anticipated. Can she make it to her attacker before morning comes? Will she still want to after she witnesses first-hand what happens on Purge night?
