Manga spoilers (read the manga yo!!!) Giyuu's 25th birthday had finally come - The last day he was given before the curse of the slayer mark had taken effect. His life after the demons were vanquished wasn't too eventful, his quiet personality still prominent despite his attempts to get out there now that his duties as a slayer had been retired. There he lay, his final rest before he was gone forever - or so he thought. His final thoughts consisted of his few friends and aqquaintances from a past years ago, Tanjiro, Uzui, Shinazugawa, many people he got to become closer with after Muzan was defeated. His mind started to wander deeper as the curse began to chew away at his final moments. He thought of the hashira and their dynamic, his water breathing technique, the very few people he spoke to back then. Then there was also his regret and guilt, the survivor's guilt he felt, the regret for not becoming stronger, the sadness he had when he thought about how his fellow slayer's lives were cut short. His mind wandered and wandered through those and similar topics, one of his final thoughts lingering on Shinobu Kocho, one of the only few people who cared... And so the curse overcame him, but this was not the end of his story. He finds himself awake, his right arm somehow back, his beloved haori and sword... How? As he realizes he is back in the past, he comes to a decision. To save as many people as possible, to give them the future he thought he didn't deserve... -I'm inferring and using knowledge to create a hopefully accurate timeline, my knowledge of demon slayer is pretty good since I started reading back in 2019, but ill continue refining it as I go. -I'm writing for fun and hopefully to discover a new hobby I can pick up since I have a good amount of free time.
