The one where a calm and composed healer meets an adrenaline addict dragon tamer, and they both decide to flirt a little. 𓆩✧𓆪 You glanced at Weasley, but he wasn't looking in your direction. His gaze was fixed on something beyond the hill-perhaps on nothing in particular. He seemed relaxed. He had his back against a tree trunk; one leg was bent at the knee, and his forearm rested casually on it. With the fingers of his other hand, he tugged at a blade of grass in a rather absent-minded manner. The faint smile on his lips suggested he was thinking about something rather pleasant. The rays of the August sun, slowly sinking behind the trees, illuminated his silhouette, giving his hair an even more fiery shade of red. And his eyes... they shone, and the hot chocolate in them turned into liquid gold. His smile widened. "Take a picture, Doc. It'll last longer." A wave of heat washed over you, and your cheeks turned red in an instant. Damn it. "You think too highly of yourself, Weasley," you said firmly, but you looked away. 𓆩✧𓆪 The one where she tames his heart and he tames her soul.

When strange disturbances begin appearing across the Romanian dragon sanctuary, the Ministry sends a curse breaker to investigate. Dragons are behaving unpredictably, nests are being disturbed, and no one can explain what is happening. The only person who seems to have any understanding of the creatures is Charlie Weasley, a dragon handler who has spent years earning the trust of the very beasts most people fear. Assigned to work together, Y/N and Charlie find themselves following a trail that makes less and less sense. There are no obvious spells, no witnesses, and no clear enemy. As they venture deeper into the mountains, facing dangerous creatures, freezing nights, and long days searching for answers, she begins to see the man behind the legend of Charlie Weasley. Beneath the soot, scars, and reckless bravery is someone patient, gentle, and far more vulnerable than he lets anyone believe. Charlie, in turn, discovers that the curse breaker sent to help him is not just clever and determined, but someone who understands the importance of protecting what cannot speak for itself. But some things are harder to investigate than a magical crime. Like why a dragonkeeper who swore he was perfectly happy alone keeps finding his way back to the same person. And why, somewhere between fire and frost, two people who never expected to need anyone begin to realize they might have found someone worth staying for.

Leah Everleigh has been keeping a secret for almost 2 years, one that's eating her alive, one that she couldn't tell anybody and absolutely wouldn't. She only finds comfort in the beautiful flowers and creatures of the forbidden forest, because plants don't speak and neither do animals. Charlie Weasley didn't even know Leah Everleigh that much and honestly wasn't planning on changing that, until he noticed he wasn't the only one entering the forbidden forest at ungodly hours, that is.

Joy has spent the last ten years running. From cold towns and worse apartments. From men who raised their voices too quickly. From motel rooms with broken locks and memories that still wake her up at three in the morning. By twenty-seven, she's learned how to survive quietly: keep moving, keep smiling, never stay long enough to belong anywhere. Oceanside, California was never supposed to be permanent. Neither was The Drop. After walking into the bar looking for work, Joy unexpectedly finds herself pulled into the orbit of the Cody family - a dangerous, volatile crime family held together by loyalty, violence, and Smurf Cody's suffocating control. Deran gives her a chance behind the bar, and what starts as an easy friendship slowly turns into something far more complicated as Joy becomes entangled in the family's lives. Especially Pope's. Quiet, observant, and deeply unsettling, Pope sees too much too quickly - the scars hidden beneath Joy's tattoos, the exhaustion she disguises with humour, the careful way she keeps one foot permanently out the door. As the lines between survival and belonging begin to blur, Joy finds herself becoming attached to the worst possible people she could ever learn to love. But nobody enters the Cody family untouched. And nobody leaves unchanged. A slow-burn fanfiction. This book will include heavy descriptions of drug use and addiction, self-harm scars/references, childhood abuse, domestic violence, emotional manipulation, mental illness, violence, trauma, sexual themes, and mature language. The feedback you guys gave me after i wrote my Jack Abbot books was AMAZING, thank you so much! I don't feel terrified sharing things i've written now, this will be VERY different to the other two books and a lot darker but i hope you enjoy it as much!

She wasn't born a Cody, but she might as well have been. After her mother died, Janine 'Smurf' Cody took her in and raised her alongside the boys in the Cody house. Growing up surrounded by crime, loyalty, and chaos meant learning the family rules early: trust the Codys, ask no questions, and never betray the family. But as the years pass, the quiet bond she's always shared with Pope begins to change-and in a family like theirs, feelings can be just as dangerous as the jobs they pull.
