Matt is a kid who loves Pokémon. He's always fantasized living in the Pokémon world, despite everyone's harsh teasing. That doesn't stop him, however, and continues to dream about going there. One fateful night, that wish will come true, and Matt will be thrown into a mysterious place far away from home. Matt ends up in the Pokémon world, albeit completely foreign to him. He'll have to journey through this unfamiliar place, meeting new friends and Pokémon along the way. Will he ever get back home, or will he even want to? As an adult, Medio, now a sylveon, proves his skill in the art of battle and quickly rises to the status of a respectable knight. Despite dreaming of this since childhood, Medio soon finds out it's not all he bargained for. The pokemon of Galar will have to face the fact their enemy is not humanity, but rather the owner of three grisly jaws. As the battles get bloodier and his mother's mysterious past unravels, the young sylveon finds he is the one who will have to stop it.
