One day, Pete finds a mysterious book behind a dumpster called Free Fall. He is taken away from his problems to the fictional world of Kinn and Porsche, with their mafia violence. He finds out from his mother that there was a television show based on the book, and tries desperately to find a copy. When he finally does, Pete is magically transported into Porsche's world to take his place, trying to not mess up the plot. Hopefully, if he follows the storyline, he can find his way home. However, Pete has always had a soft spot for Vegas. Will he try to change the plot in order to save him?
