Author's note: Hi everyone! This is new territory for me. I haven't written fan fiction in ages and although I have been listening to My Chem for literally 20 years, I am new to the Frerard pairing as I never really paid attention to the band's personal lives before. The new tour though has completely changed my algorithm content so I have been consuming so many old interviews and fan edits. I've also read a ton of Frerard fics the past few weeks and felt inspired enough to give it a go. A few things to keep in mind - in this fic, the guys do not smoke. I lost both of my parents to lung cancer so it's a touchy subject for me and I really don't want to constantly have to work smoking into the storyline. Also, this is not really canon as I am not super familiar with the timeline of the era. It's going to be a short and sweet one so the timeline is not super critical anyway. This is also my first time writing smut so uh, hope it's okay lol. Also, I am not a writer so ignore my grammar and poor use of quotations. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did writing this! Gerard grows up and becomes a Killjoys fighter with a team, meeting and losing other Killjoys. He helps fight against the Society and BL/ind from suppressing art and individuality. The story starts with Gerard at 10 years old and continues as he grows up. The saga follows along with the music videos for Na Na Na & SING then continuing along with the Killjoy comic books and My Chemical Romance/Gerard Way songs.
