What can the world offer to heal a broken man? Amethio mindlessly drifts through the majority of his days, and at last, the day before Christmas arrives. He spends it restless and uneasy, unable to shake the sense that something is wrong. When Amethio wakes up expecting Christmas morning, he instead finds himself reliving the same day all over again. Trapped in a time loop with no clear escape, Amethio is forced to confront his choices, his fears, and the people he keeps choosing to hold close. After Liko lost her second test in the Teracrystal course against Gym Leader Grusha, she and her friends Rory and Dot set out to climb to the peak of Montanata. However, on the steep path up the mountainside, they get caught in a fierce snowstorm. At first, Amethio wanted to steal Terapagos despite the snowstorm, but as the storm grew stronger, they were forced to work together. Lost, she searches for a way out of the storm or at least a way back to her friends, but her hopes are shattered by the icy wind. And as if that weren't bad enough, she also encounters Amethio. At first, she wonders whether he might be able to help her, but when she realizes he only cares about stealing Terapagos, her despair reaches its peak. Will she be able to escape the snowstorm together with Amethio and find her way back to her friends? Or will the blizzard bury her - and with her, her wish to bring Terapagos to Laqua? All rights belong to The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and Nintendo. This story takes place in the world of Pokémon Horizons, starting from Episode 64. A simple walk in the woods turns into... a battle with Amethio? But Liko's Sprigatito is quickly overwhelmed by Ceruledge. When she runs to protect her partner, Amethio nearly confronts her for her pendant, forcing Liko to flee into the forest. No child liked the sound of their mother's tears. Especially when they didn't understand what they were coming from...what any of the big words meant. 10 years later, Amethio found out what those words meant...found out that he wasn't...normal. Set after Episode 105 of Pokemon Horizons, Amethio travels with the Rising Volt Tacklers trying to uncover the mysteries of Laqium and Strong Spheres. But as Amethio slowly discovers things about his past he was never intended to find he begins to question everything. Note!! This story will make heaps more sense if you have watched up to episode 105 of Pokemon Horizons! And will also avoid you getting spoilers. Also as this fic is set after 105, this means no events from 106 and beyond will be canon!! Alltough he was removed from the mission on delivering Likos pendant to Gibeon, Amethio is still on the chase after her and the Rising Volt Tacklers, determined to find out, what mystery between her and that object really is. As he follows the group traveling trough a forest with the help of his Corviknight, the young teen suddenly spots Spinel following the group as well. Being still very sceptical about his methods for achieving his goals, he decides to follow him, seeing what he has planned. So while doing that, a sudden scream is noticed to be coming from a cliff. Arriving at its location, Amethio suddenly sees, much to his shock, an injured Liko laying badly wounded near indeed a cliff, with an evil and somewhat insane grinning Spinel slowly approaching her, to probably snatching her pendant or possibly worse, hurting her even more... Realizing what is about to happen, Amethio instantly jumps in front of the beated down Pokémon Trainer, confronting Spinel and protecting Liko, even if it means, he is going to get hurt next...
