One day when Chris took Abby to the doctors for a check-up, a married couple, the Marshalls, had recently lost a baby, and their chance to have another was slim until a miracle happened: Chris decided to give Abby away to a wonderful family and be loved every day. 16 years later, Abby goes to school at Chilton and is at the top of her class. Abby is artistic, athletic, and loves to read with a cup of hot chocolate. Her best friend is Paris Geller, who treats her like a sister. Abby is not a spoiled rich girl, but she does care for others. One day at school, Abigail finally meets her birth family for the first time in her life and wonders how this adventure will play out.
