Maleficent takes Aurora to the underground caves where the Dark Fairies live in order to teach the girl about her species' history, but what happens when it seems as if Aurora is getting just a little too cozy with the other Dark Fairies? It seems that old habits die hard and Maleficent's fatal flaw of envy is no exception. Thank goodness Aurora always knows how to cheer her up!

Maleficent has had a bad feeling all night, and cannot seem to place what is wrong. However, it soon occurs to her that something is awry with her dearest Beastie. It is up to her to find out what has happened. Super fluffy mother/daughter feels with Aurora and Maleficent and some angst. It is Pre-Maleficent 2.

AU: When Queen Ingrith dares to suggest she would be a better mother for Aurora than Maleficent, it isn't Maleficent who has the big outburst, but rather, it is Aurora, who is just as protective of Maleficent as Maleficent is of her. And then later, when a guard makes the same mistake with Diaval, Aurora is just as quick to defend him too.

After the final battle is over, Maleficent finds herself unable to move past something that happened (or rather, almost happened) during the fight and it takes some reassurance and a trip down memory lane led by Aurora to assuage her guilt and fear. Maleficent is feeling insecure, good thing her little Beastie always knows how to cheer her up.

Aurora is attacked in her own castle, luckily, Maleficent arrives just in time to save her life, but even though the immediate danger is over, there is still a lot of work left to do. With Diaval's help, though, the trio is confident that they will make it back to normality eventually. It will just take time, and family support. Luckily, they all have both in spades.

Conall tells Maleficent that all Dark Fey are descendants from the Phoenix. They come from her cinders and ashes. This leaves Maleficent to wonder what creatures come from the Phoenix's light and fire. If she represents the dark side of the Phoenix, who is her other half that represents the light? Well...

It was a lesson Maleficent didn't used to believe, but after all she had been through in the past few days, her perspective had shifted again. Seeing the lengths to which people and fairies would both go in the name of love made Maleficent realize that maybe that silly little fairytale lesson wasn't quite so silly after all.

Maleficent got her wings back, and using a magic spell Diaval and Aurora are both faeries now as well. However Stefan is still alive and still very much wants his revenge on Maleficent. Will she survive or will all of them suffer the price of wings for a curse.

Aurora gets sick but keeps it hidden from everyone because she's afraid of losing Maleficent again. Sooner rather than later everyone finds out and worries over their sleeping beauty. None panic more than Maleficent. She worries her little beastie's life is at stake. Who knows, maybe it is? Join Aurora and Maleficent as they strengthen their Mother Daughter bond. Watch as this sickness helps Maleficent and Phillip get to know each other a little better. P.S. this was a request from one of my other stoires and I kinda made things up as I went. Please ENJOY!
