AlizaMatani
I haven't any family and those that call themselves my friends are few. I spend my days training and instructing in the arts of freehand martial combat. My sword is an honorary accessory. My mind is my weapon and my safety.
I had little to do with affairs of state, if anything at all. I kept to myself and the Dojo most of the time, unless I was travelling, short trips to the south or the east, in search of something, something to keep me rooted, something to challenge me, to keep me interested - something dangerous.
I never imagined I would be called upon to assist King and Country, to retrieve something from the pits of danger itself. But a task is a task and never mind all those who went before me. They had not what I have, I don't only have a sword, I have a soul.
