The days are long and grueling, but now he understands what his mother truly meant by the joys of raising a family, and he wishes to spend more time with them, so he schedules a few days off. Unbeknownst to him, Penny has arranged for the entire Watterson family to join them on a vacation, one that will take them to the rural outskirts of Elmore National Park, California!
