The room is divided by a thin curtain-just fabric, just space, just distance. On one side, Ni-ki, admitted after pushing his body too far-weeks of not eating properly, collapsing like it was nothing. On the other, Sunoo, who's been here longer than he can remember, lungs too weak to keep up with the world outside. They don't know each other. They don't see each other.
