Summary: Buck and Eddie go to the firefighter Olympics in Nashville where they are confronted by the best firefighters in the country, some challenges and their feelings. Context: The story starts right after season 9 episode 6, except Bobby is still alive because I want him to be alive. No one wants Bobby dead thank you. Buck has gotten a job in L.A as a firefighter at the 118, so him and Maddie move there. Maddie also has a job, she will be a 9-1-1 dispatcher. Everyone loves the Buckley siblings and wants to get to know them more. "When do I get to be happy, Eddie? When do I get to have what I want? Where do I find this person?" Buck almost sobs. Buck takes a deep breath and tightens his hold around Eddie's ribs. Buck leans back and looks into Eddie's eyes. Eddie reaches up and wipes the tear away from under Buck's eye. He slides his hand down to cup Buck's jaw. "Can I?" Eddie asks, and Buck gives him a very firm nod of approval. Eddie pushes up on the balls of his feet and softly presses his lips to Buck's.
