Vincent van de Wier is a man defined by secrets. A high-ranking Dutch diplomat to the world, he is internally a map of scars-the survivor of a childhood stolen by the manipulative Leonna de Jong and a past stained by the blood of his parents. Vincent carries a heavy, miraculous burden: a gift passed down from his mother that ensures whoever he romantically loves will have their deepest desires come true. But for Vincent, this power has been a curse, attracting those who wish to exploit him rather than know him. After decades of heartbreak, betrayal, and the presumed death of his first wife, Anouk van Bardeleven, Vincent has finally found a fragile peace. In the arms of the gentle Vera Ramírez, he has built the life he never thought possible: a home filled with laughter, the quiet joy of being seen for who he is. But in the height of his profound happiness with Vera, disaster returns. As the ghosts of his past resurface and the weight of his "gift" begins to fracture his reality, Vincent must face a devastating truth: some wounds are so deep they remain invisible until they begin to bleed again. In a world of hidden traumas and magical debts, can Vincent finally step out of the shadows, or is he destined to vanish into the pain of those he loves? This is the ninth installment in the Family series, taking place in the Netherlands with frequents visits to Portugal. It is recommended for readers aged 15 and older due to mature themes.

Welcome back! I'm thrilled to introduce another one of my stories. This particular one is a fanfiction, deeply inspired by MARINA's iconic 2015 album, "FROOT" (from her "Marina and the Diamonds" era). It even has a sequel, "City of Metal and Sun," which draws its inspiration from her 2021 album, "Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land." This is the story of Cyndi, a woman perpetually troubled by matters of the heart. Her journey unfolds in the year 2015. Just as the "FROOT" album explored cyclical themes, this narrative is also structured in a similar, cyclical fashion.

The criminal underworld thrives on unwavering loyalty, but what if that loyalty is betrayed by love and a yearning for something more? Nikhilesh Halder, an Indian adrift in Italy, built a life of crime with the ruthless Julieta Giorgi, a woman who showed him the darkest corners of humanity. Their partnership was absolute, their actions unconscionable. But the day they capture Julieta's arch-nemesis, Rebecca Ambrosini, everything changes. This is the Empath's Dilemma, a dark love story that breaks free from the conventions of dark romance. It's a journey into the shadows, yet it's driven by powerful themes of hope and redemption, not violence. A surprising wave of sympathy washes over Nikhilesh, cracking the hardened facade he's worn for so long. As his feelings for Rebecca deepen, Nikhilesh finds himself on a treacherous path, forced to dismantle the very empire he helped build. What will be the fallout of his awakening heart?

The "Family" series embarks on a poignant journey with its debut story, introducing readers to the resilient Lisa Mona Schmeichel. Throughout her young life, she endured hardship, her brother, Bryan's kindness a solitary light. Denied schooling until sixteen, her world shifted when a man named Charles Schweinsteiger offered her a brighter future. Now cherished like a daughter, his care surpassed her own parents', leading her to call him "Papa." Yet, even with this newfound stability, she faces ongoing trials, notably in the form of Sélenã Baldwin, whose antagonism presents a formidable challenge.
