["You look like hell," she stated at last. Azlan scoffed, "Likewise." She continued to study him through suspicious eyes and he couldn't help but wonder what she looked like beneath all the dried blood. He could tell she was unique though, definitely intriguing. ### "You think you know everything?" She turned to him in challenge, but Azlan only stared the female down, unbothered. "You don't know anything." "Don't I? It doesn't take a person with eyes to recognize all that built up anger and pain sizzling inside you." "Stay the fuck out of my business."] While grieving the loss of her boyfriend, huntress Nera Atherton made it to her mission to kill every beast she can hunt down to avenge her love. Two years pass when she crosses paths with a mysterious and arrogant man, Azlan, who claims to be searching for his sister's killer. When her uncle vanishes without a trace, Nera and Azlan put aside their differences to track down the threat endangering their home, Asteria. However, as Nera finds herself drawn to Azlan, she remains unaware that he harbors a dangerous secret-one that could put her life in grave danger.

There is a thin line between love and hate. A delicate balance, a twist of fate. A tender glance, a fiery gaze. A gentle touch, a heated shove. Yet in the balance we are known to reside, where love and hate collide in our hearts. So as we walk the line and we embrace the fire, with the love that soothes and the hate that tires.. along the line, we realize that something so strong, can only ever be compared to something even stronger. Such is the case for Khayrah Ammal and Muhammad Adnaan. Where in the pursuit of disdain, lines get crossed and what we thought was so clearly hate, turns out to be something softer, something with a promise. Though, with all love stories, there can never be a promise of a happily ever after. Something so close might sometimes be farther than we think.
