It made the butterflies vanish and circulate to my stomach instead, and then I knew who stood before me. I turned to the clearing; my feet heavy from the blow to my head and watched his figure step closer. His furrowed eyebrows once again knitted over his dark eyes as he seemed confused as to why our paths crossed again. I felt my heart rise in a discomforting way, as I had never known if I would ever have the occasion of seeing him again, and I had not thought about it ever since I left his home.
