Britt heads to LA with her friends Kurt and Krist and their bandmate Dave. Dave and Britt start something up but will they last when they have to deal with her abusive father and the band making it in the music business.

Brittany and Abby are best friends and after Brittany rejects her boyfriend's marriage proposal causing the relationship to end, Abby tells her to join her at a Chevy Metal show. Brittany goes and her life gets turned upside down she "buys" Dave Grohl a shot. Dave is currently getting a divorce from his wife and decides to take Taylor up on his offer to come check out a Chevy Metal show. When he's handed a shot after the band is done, he's askes who bought it and the bartender points to the girl he noticed when he got there. He walks over to her and everything changes when he looks into her eyes.

Brittany got a part in a movie but what she really wants to do is be in a band. While out with her new friend Frances Bean, she meets Tyler, Kyle, Gavin, Garrett and Tyler's little brother Kevin. They have a band called Peace Punk and they make Brittany the new lead singer. Frances and Brittany decide to move in together with Brittany's best friend Hunter. Peace Punk records their first record while Brittany films her movie. Once it's finished they give it to Dave Grohl. Peace Punk soon get a phone call saying they're going to be the opening act for the Foo Fighters on their next tour. There's only one rule Peace Punk has for the tour: What happens on the road, stays on the road......Especially if it involves the lead singers of both bands.
