Itoshi Sae, captain of the Blue Lock Preparatory cheerleading squad has one goal for her senior year: go to nationals and win. She will go to any lengths necessary to reach this goal, including going out of her way to recruit the loud mouthed, delinquent new transfer student, Shidou Ryusei. Aka this is a Ryusae genderbend cheerleader fic and Sae isn't fooling anybody but herself.

"If I give you my number," he started, his jaw clenching. "Will you fuck off?" "Maybe," Ryusei said with a shrug and a smirk. He reached into his pocket for his phone and held it out to him. "Only one way to find out."

"You're off for two weeks?" Shidou asked. "Does that mean you're coming home?" "I wasn't planning on it," Sae answered. "Oh," Shidou said. "Maybe I could come visit you, then."

Five years into marriage, things aren't going well for Sae and Ryusei. At the suggestion of their couples therapist, they agree to do a six week trial separation, after which they'll decide whether they still have something to salvage or whether it would be best to just call it quits.
