Linh already had some rough relationships, and she wasn't ready for another one. With their money troubles, and stubborn parents, she and her brother had to stick together, with the exception of his girlfriend, Biana Vacker. But sometimes, Linh wished that Tam didn't have to work so hard, that she didn't have to work so hard to just keep paying the rent and finding the foods on sale or the things on clearance. Maybe that would change someday. Or maybe not. Cameron Tagger had always been a star. Always been seen as a role model, and always been shadowed by his father, Ray Tagger. The only one who really knew him was his stepmom, Melo, who's bright and cheerful attitude could never bring him down. His family was broken, his school was horrible, and sometimes, he really hated being famous. But what could he do now? Find 'love'? Someone to be in his life forever? He already loved someone, and they had left. So why try again?

Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter.
