Tim Bradford is a training officer at the LAPD, who gets a new rookie, Lucy Chen. Instantly Tim and Lucy realize, that there's something between them. They both have to hide their feelings towards each other because it would be strictly forbidden to act on them. But what happens when some things are more important than any rules?

Lucy Chen, a 29 year old woman, is living through hell. At 18, right as Lucy finished high school, she signed up for the police academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. That's where she met Lex. He was sweet, gentle, kind, generous, good with Kids, everything. It didn't take long for them to tie the knot. And then he changed when they were 24, for the worse. He became abusive in all the worst ways. Lucy dealt with it privately for 4 years, the bruises, the cleaning, the cooking. Everything. But at 28, she was done. She decided that was it, packed up her stuff and moved to Los Angeles, California. She decided to go be a cop at Mid-Whilshire station. What will happen as her past is slowly dug up?

This will combine Lucy as a teen and her adult life. She has a troubled past with legal problems. Her choices is to Joined A military Academy at the age of 12 or spend 6 year in juvenile detention.
