However in another this was not the case. For in this world. The gods were cursed by their Father to never be able to produce children without pain and hardship. Thus is came to pass that they viewed each child as something precious. And NOTHING would keep them from making sure they were kept safe.

Basically a Rick Riordan time travel to when Percy is still at the Hermes table. Time suddenly froze in the present, so the fates are sending demigods from all over to Camp Half Blood in 2005. Why? Because the fates need the hero's to warn the demigods in the past, all while trying to find out why time is frozen.
