Tim Drake knew he wasn't the best Robin. He knew that. He knew Dick was more graceful, flexible, faster, made everything look easy. He knew Jason was stronger, more determined, brutal and fierce. Tim knew he wasn't like them....and yet...he wanted to be more like them. He would do anything to be more like the, Train, stop eating, he even gave up all the sleep he could just to be like them. To finally fill the boots of Robin that seemed far too big. No one notices as he burns himself dry until a motorcycle crash. "Why is everyone better than me?"

Tim has been reassured by countless people (Alfred and Dick on two separate occasions) that Bruce was just going through a hard time cause this was the month that Jason Todd had died and that was why he might be a little testy. Okay... Reasonable explanation and Tim didn't mind helping Bruce through a hard time. However, it just didn't feel like this was Bruce. But then again, Tim had only been Robin for a year. Maybe he didn't know Bruce as well as he thought. Still.... Bruce suddenly becoming abusive for a single standing month seemed weird. So Tim went to the one person who could help. Dick Grayson. Even though Dick was currently in fights with Bruce and would rather scoop his left eye out with a spoon then go back to the manor right now, that left Tim no option but to venture to Bludhaven himself. He'd get some amazing advice and Dick would explain everything, send him on his way, and Tim would get lost back to Gotham to fix Bruce! His plan was literally so easy. OR//////// Tim realizes that Bruce is acting wrong but doesn't know how to address it cause he doesn't want to be wrong cause he feels like he doesn't know Bruce that well so he just keeps taking it until it's literally blaring in his face. Tim is just a kid. Yes, he's a genius but also has those kid insecurities. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yeah so I wanted to write another angst fic of Tim. Sue me! This takes place when Tim just BARELY reaches the one year mark of being Robin. This fic also centers around Tim and Dick's relationship and I got the inspo from 'Batman the Animated Series' and how Nightwing is just not around a lot because of his grudge against Bruce but I thought "Huh, how would Dick know if Bruce was acting weird if he's never there forcing Tim to deal with it???" This is just an idea dump fic! No strict schedule and will be on a back burner on occasion.
