Thomas O. Brien is the son of the rich Duke Stephen Brien, and is to be married off to the oldest daughter of the Agnes line - against his will, but he doesn't dare tell his father anything. On the night before his wedding, he steps out of their family villa for a last night of fun before his life becomes tied to another and he has to pick up his duties as the Brien heir. This 'fun' he was looking after, well it wasn't exactly getting kidnapped by one of the most famous pirate crews that all of England was raving about.
