I haven't really found any Alex x Readers. (This is based off of the show, not the book) This story starts from the beginning, the whole school is rattled by Hannah's death, but the ones who received tapes are even more rattled. You, Alex, and Hannah were extremely close, until you guys stopped going to Monet's together, you and Alex remained close while Hannah drifted apart.
