After the events of Cars On The Road series, Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez, and the entire gang of Radiator Springs were invited to partook in the Global Racers Cup (GRC) competition, where they meet familiar racers from the World Grand Prix and new racers from across the globe, and Lightning feels being back on the race and ready to revving in the racetrack.
