The world of Ashes & Frost is trapped in the Great Winter, an eternal ice age imposed by the Frost King. In this reality, heat is a regulated resource, a divine luxury, and any thermal excess is considered a heresy punishable by death. Two powers clash in the shadows: the Citadel of Ananke, guardian of the glacial order, and the Frost Forsworn, rebels hidden in extinct volcanoes seeking to bring back summer. The Plot The story follows the intertwined destinies of two children whom everything should have kept apart: Zoran: A hollow-eyed orphan, turned into an "Ichor Hound" by the Inquisition. To survive the training pits of the Citadel, he must sacrifice his emotions and become an extension of the ice. His quest is that of a man seeking to regain his humanity in a system that wants to turn him into a death automaton. Eleshia: A young girl fleeing a burned-out village, bearer of the Suryâ, a forbidden fire magic. Her power is immense, but it demands a terrifying price: for every spark produced, she must burn a fragment of her own memories. Her struggle is that of a woman who fears forgetting who she is by dint of fighting for her survival. The Conflict Their bond, sealed by an act of betrayal and mercy during an inaugural massacre, pushes them toward each other across a devastated kingdom. As an ancient artifact, The Eye of Surya, resurfaces, Zoran is sent to destroy it while Eleshia is tasked with protecting it. "In a world where blood freezes before it hits the ground, only memory can still burn."
