Through an accident, Harry and the piece of Voldemort's soul that resides inside him begin to interact and Harry slowly begins to change. He becomes stronger and more aware, and slowly grows aware of a more sinister course of events that has perpetuated his entire life. Warnings: This story is sort of pre-slash / slash. The story is NOT ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP. The relationship doesn't even really happen until around page 450 (which translates to roughly chapter 24), so if you're here for a ship fic, you won't really find it, or you're going to be waiting a long time before it gets there. The pairing is HP/LV Yes - Voldemort. But it's more of an adult TR than the scaley snake-faced Voldemort we're all more familiar with. Before John Gage became one of the first Paramedics in L. A. County, he struggled through the training to become a fireman. Being part Native American and at the top of his graduation class from the training academy left him open for more pranks played on boots at his first station, but he was determined to prove himself. This story introduces many of the characters from the TV series in an original way. Since the show started with the paramedic training, the process of getting there was open for the imagination and mine got pretty creative. This is what I came up with.
