In order to do this, he must break the rules that the humans set... Is he in the right? And will he prevail? Come along for the ride with his group of Rejects called White Hat. As they journey through growing up, and fighting a fight against everyone. The journey may be rough, but the destination, will be beautiful. I've been writing this book since I was 11 years old, now 20. My best friend, Cameron and I came up with the idea. Cameron is no longer here, I wish to make this book a reality for him, for it was a big dream of ours. Cover credit: @KarryzeLabor

The Candle That Burned in Rain is a story of quiet resilience, forbidden tenderness, and the kind of love that flickers where no light should exist. In the war-torn world of Ashivelle, where magic defines worth and those without it are left behind, two strangers cross paths in a forgotten border town. She's a woman learning to live after years spent as someone else's possession. He's a soldier returned from a war that nearly unmade him. Neither of them has magic. Neither of them is supposed to matter. And yet, in the hush between candlelight and rainstorms, something fragile begins to grow. Told with aching intimacy and lyrical prose, The Candle That Burned in Rain explores what it means to be seen in a world that refuses to look-when healing takes root not in grand gestures, but in the quiet, unspoken moments that refuse to be extinguished.
