"I love you," hoping he can read my lips. Nyle grins and leans in to kiss me. He understood. He understood that I loved him. He understood that I was willing to do anything for him. I understood that he felt the same way. Then he writes something down a slip of paper. Nyle holds it in front of him and I begin to gush over it. It read, "I love you too." The time spent wondering if he could understand me seemed to not mean that much. Despite Nyle being deaf, it didn't matter because love was our communication.
