Set during RTTE series 4: What if the Riders had arrived rather later they did in the episode Midnight Scrum? Finally rescued, Hiccup is more affected by his ordeals than he lets on-but as he changes. can his friends help him return to the person they knew? A/N: A few of these around but honestly, Midnight Scrum was just such an opportunity to explore all sorts of emotions and sequelae from what happened. Hiccup is struggling to take his father's place as chief of Berk. The village is weak and vurnerable. This means that it can be easily fortified by some unwanted and almost forgotten foes. When Alvin captures Hiccup and tells him to make him a flying suit, Hiccup refuses. But how long can he stay defient in the harsh conditions that Al in forces him through. They are tests of strength and will. He has to depend on himself for strength that his people will rescue him.

Hiccup has retrograde amnesia. Retrograde amnesia is the inability to access memories of previous events before the injury and can include self-identity loss. It is possible to recover but a dense period immediately preceding the trauma usually persists. How will Astrid cope?

Instead of Valka, it was Hiccup that was taken. I believe Cloudjumper intended to take Hiccup from the start. Join him on his dragon life. See how he meets Toothless in this scenario. See how Berk goes without their heir. What would happen? There is no... true answer. I am not the original creator, but I can give you my idea in this book. And Toothless found the light fury before Toothless did. Grimmel found out about Toothless and wanted to kill Toothless but he had other plans for his rider.

Then Hiccup befriends toothless and shows Astrid a dragons true nature Years pass and Hiccup is a full grown (good looking) man who has raised an empire and destroyed whole tribes with his power to save the dragons But there is a man. A man who's eyes are empty. This man will be Hiccup and Astrid's most dangerous adventure yet. Will they make it? This is two stories combined so you can just read the first if you want. *COMPLETE* Stoick the vast disowns his son, Hiccup, when he finds out that he has sided with the dragons. Hiccup and Toothless escapes from execution, and plans to never come back. But fate has other plans, as Hiccup returns five years later , and finds out he has to save the dragons from both, Berk and the Red Death. But he also has to save his own life, including Berk from a new enemy., Stoick wants his son to stay home, but what he doesn't realize is that Hiccup isn't 'Hiccup' anymore. He's a whole different person. That is not Stoick's son. "Dad?" Hiccup calls. "Yeah." Stoick whispers, peaking his head into his son's room. "..I love you."

After HTTYD 3, Hiccup ends up at the mercy of Grimmel. Without the help of his friends, or his dragon, both who have no idea where he is, and things aren't looking good for him. Astrid and the riders are desperate to get their leader back, but will it be too late? (This is the REWRITTEN version of my old book, 'Hiccup's Mercy'. There WILL not be any added characters, except those who are warlords because I can't remember their names. I dislike my old version and find it too fast, so this is my version of it which hopefully will be better.)
