Lacey grew up in Hampton, Nebraska, where she met her husband, Tim. Tim was a farmer and after a terrible accident left Lacey a pregnant widow, she decides to move to Chicago to be what she's always wanted to be, a paramedic. Unwanted circumstances lead her to fire house 51 where she meets her new family. They also lead her to Lt. Kelly Severide. Although her past haunts her, Lacey hopes that's this fresh start is what she needs and what will make her feel whole again.
