TORTURE NOTE "Justice doesn't kill. It makes you feel every second of what you've done." In the grey, forgotten corners of Birmingham, 15-year-old Ruman lives as an invisible witness to the world's cruelty. Bullies rule classrooms, abusive adults hide behind closed doors, and the innocent are left to suffer in silence. But everything changes the day he discovers a mysterious black notebook lying untouched in the rain. The Torture Note. With a single rule: > Write a name. Write the punishment. Five per day. No mercy. Once he uses it, a dark mirror of himself-an alter ego known as Vice-awakens to carry out the brutal justice. Together, they punish the wicked with fitting, supernatural torment: emotional, physical, or psychological. But as the line between justice and vengeance blurs, Ruman must face the chilling truth-is he saving the innocent... or becoming the very monster he hunts? As rumors of "The Phantom of Birmingham" spread and victims fall, a city begins to fear its own shadow. And Ruman must decide: > How far should justice go before it becomes torture itself?

🩸TORTURE NOTE - Season 1 Recap & Season 2 Tease --- 📘 Season 1 Recap: "The Phantom's Rise" Season 1 of Torture Note introduced us to Ruman, an ordinary student who discovers a cursed book known as the Torture Note - a mysterious object that allows its user to cause unspeakable suffering to those whose names are written inside it, as long as they know the full name and the face of the target. Ruman, guided by the sharp-tongued and often comical Vice, his imaginary alter-ego born from the Note itself, becomes the anonymous vigilante Phantom, punishing abusers, predators, bullies, and manipulators. But as his actions grow darker, so does the moral complexity. Is justice still justice when it's delivered through pain? Throughout Season 1, Ruman encounters: Ghost ID, a mysterious hacker woman with connections to the Note and a tragic past involving her father, Wataru - the original user of the Torture Note. Elsie, a girl with amnesia who can see Vice (which no one else can), and has an otherworldly presence connected to a glowing star spinel gemstone embedded within her. Dante, the enigmatic magician and Ghost ID's former guardian, who seems to have his own agenda, tied to illusion magic and the Note's past. The story delves into themes of abuse, justice, trauma bonding, self-worth, and the emotional fallout of choosing vengeance over healing. Ruman begins to question if the Torture Note is a tool for good or a path to ruin. As he faces increasingly difficult choices - especially cases involving people who don't want help, or who are caught in cycles of pain and dependency - Ruman's faith in his mission begins to waver. Meanwhile, Ghost ID continues her long mission of trying to restore her family, bringing back her father from the ripples of time - a man lost due to the dark transformation the Torture Note can cause when pushed to its limit.
