This story is a prequel to "Divergent High" (story before Divergent High). Ever since Toby and Bea met each other, they are inseparable (minus the few mini fights). But soon Tobias makes some bad choices, and Bea doesn't think she can live with it. Then, Toby is experiencing horrible acts and shuts himself down. Bea is left without him, can she handle it?

Tris has woken up in a strange room, surrounded by all her friends and beloved. However one thing confuses her; she is not dead. Tobias, notably relieved at her conscious state, gives her the update on everything and how she is still in this world. Tris becomes a training instructor for the new Dauntless initiates, Tobias is an instructor for the already-Dauntless initiates. However revenge spikes up more than once when a member of Tris' group is attacked, determined to find out she must turn on friend and foe. But above all of this, a shady character is thrown in who just make or break Tris, but what is Tobias' problem with him? This book contains some inappropriate scenes and will be under some serious editing soon.

Tris's life as a singer and actress is over. It's back to Chicago to start college. Meeting her friends will be fun but what about the only love of her life?
