Natalie Taress is left broken after the sudden death of her mother who was killed by a drunk driver. The small threads holding her life together fall apart and she becomes even more nonexistent than she was before. Natalie's dad, George Taress, is an important politician. They decide that it is best to get away from everything and they move to Ottawa. Natalie doesnt even get a chance to start to repair her life before it is shattered even further.
