A little sister, in fact. The little lady was autistic to the extent that she was unable to speak to anyone but Watari or L without having a mental breakdown, though with her neurodiversity came great intelligence. She had remained holed up in a special room that many of the other orphans rumored as haunted, until one day, in a fit of boredom, she wondered out and discovered that the orphanage isn't such a scary place after all...and that the likes of a blonde chocolate eating boy sharpens her tongue and brings about a witty personality that she never knew existed until now.

This story might not make much sense lowkey. I'm not too great at story writing and this idea just came to me soooo. At sixteen, (y/n) is a runaway with nothing but scars, surviving alone on the streets of Los Angeles-until a violent encounter leads her to cross paths with Mello and Matt, two teenage outcasts with a criminal edge. Offered shelter in a crumbling warehouse and reluctant friendship, she finds an unexpected sense of belonging-especially with Mello, whose sharp edges begin to soften around her. But their safety is short-lived. When the abandoned warehouse turns out to be a mafia hideout, Mello sees opportunity in the danger, pulling himself and Matt into the criminal underworld.
