Five rules. Six weeks. Seven teens all trapped together on an island. After a disastrous trip on the Coastal Venture, the Pogues find themselves marooned on an unknown island with no way to call home. At first, survival is simple. John B outlines five rules to keep them alive. They carve weapons, find fresh water, and hunt for food. The Pogues are ready for whatever the island may throw at them. Except the island isn't the problem. They are. When there is nothing to do and nowhere to go, the spiral starts, and it doesn't stop. JJ gets high off a mushroom he definitely shouldn't have eaten. Parker Kate and Cleo form a friendship over increasingly dangerous booby traps. And Pope's convinced he's Caesar Flickerman. What started as a way to keep their heads above water slowly morphs into uncontrolled chaos until one day, the Pogues are too distracted to notice their ticket home. The fun and games are over. The Pogues have to make a choice: find a way to live on this island without destroying everything in their path or never make it back home.

In a world where everything comes in threes, the third time has to be the charm. For the Pogues, it might be their last chance at bringing the treasure on home. But as the hunt grows more dangerous and JJ's actions more reckless, JJ realizes he can only channel his inner "03' Bonnie & Clyde" for so long. Something - or someone - has gotten it in Parker's head that JJ is better off without her. And if there is one thing JJ is certain: he is not better off without Parker. Two separate treasures lead them two separate ways, and by the time their paths collide, it may already be too late. Parker and JJ have to determine what they're willing to fight for, what they're willing to let someone take, and what true treasure really is.
