Anne was in shock. The Resistance had failed to stop Andrias, Marcy was possessed by something called the Core, and the Invasion of Earth was only moments away! Luz was not able to save Eda from petrification. Or King. Or Lilith. During her fight with Belos, she was involuntarily ripped from the Boiling Isles, by an unknown force, and transported to Amphibia, where she crashes Anne and Sasha's reunion party. Luz's absence from the Boiling Isles prevents several key events from taking place as a result, affecting the lives of many of those living there and elsewhere. (Note: This story will get very dark)

Bittersweet is something I find hard to cope with, which I know is a me problem and I just needed there to be a plausible account out there that allows Anne and the Plantars to come together again. If I have devalued the lesson, I'm truly, TRULY sorry.) So anyway, this is an Amphibia AU where what if the Deity let the girls keep the full gems rather than just give them a small shard that they could only use once, that way they could then extract the powers from the gems and continue to use the powers to do good things. Warning though, this fanfic is actually really really dark, it contains topics such as: Depression, detailed violence and gore, and mentions of psychological and physical abuse. If you're sensitive to that stuff then please be careful. Oh, and Marcy has PTSD because there is no way she should have been alright after all the trauma she went through.

Set after the events of my previous Amphibia fanfiction, Amphibia The Calamity Gods (If you haven't read it yet then you should). The people of Earth and Amphibia now coexist with each other. The calamity trio are adults and are doing well, Marcy was able to save up enough money to move back to the US. And the three of them continue to use their metahuman powers to defend both worlds to this day. However, there is someone who has suffered a great deal and wants to settle a score that he has with the Calamity Gods, a very personal one as a matter of fact. (Warning, like the last fanfiction this one will have dark triggering themes, severe violence, and mature elements to it, so if you're sensitive to that then please proceed with caution.)
