Tired of all those annoying tropes and cliches in werewolf stories? Well, you're in luck! Here's a guide on how and what cliches to avoid, both annoying and morally problematic ones! There's rejected mates, White Wolf Syndrome, stalking, abusive behavior, and rouge or rogue? Who knows the answer to these burning questions? I know. Well... sorta... It's all just my opinion to be honest. Warning: contains cursing, sarcasm, and terrible jokes. (written in 2016 with a few edits up until present, may add stuff as people suggest them. please feel free to converse in the comments. leave a question and i'll be happy to answer it... eventually... hopefully sometime in the same year....)

Wattpad Werewolf Clichés is a humorus take on the werewolf genre. I DON'T INTEND FOR ANY OF THIS TO BE OFFENSIVE TO AUTHORS, READERS OR WEREWOLVES ALIKE. THIS IS MERELY TO BRING SMILES TO PEOPLES FACES AND SO I CAN RANT ABOUT THE THINGS THAT ANNOY ME SO. ENJOY(:

Book One of the Modern Cliches series ~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi, my name is Sasha Elaine Wimbleton. I am your perfectly average twenty four year girl. The only thing I am slight above average for is the cynical and snark categories but I had an average childhood, an average school experience, average friends, marks, parents, and life. So in a life full of averages I have absolutely no fucking clue how to explain or count for the fact I was kidnapped by a self professed werewolf who claimed I was his undeniable, true love, one of a kind, soul mate. I'm sorry but I'm really not into that whole Stockholm Syndrome thing... This isn't mentioning his pack is in this long standing feud with his younger brother, Fergus, who wants him dead because of a reason he wouldn't tell me. I only met him a few times where he and Damien snapped and snarled at each other and exchanged threats. In which I was either being manhandled by Damien or with his Beta, Vince LeStat, a.k.a. the future father of my children. Stuck in a pack of testosterone filled fucking werewolves and being unable to actually make a move on the guy I dig because the guy who is obsessed with me has declared he will kill any man that touches me. All I can say is: Fucking kill me now.

Werewolves and Vampires is the story of, you guessed it, werewolves and vampires. Lila Silver had been a pretty normal girl until her sixteenth birthday and her dad decided to move her and her step-sister, leaving her old friends, old school and old life as a human behind. All of a sudden, she was thrust into the world of supernatural creatures without even having a say in the matter. Before she could even adjust to that bit of news, there were news reports about teenage girls going missing and showing up days later, drained of blood. After discovering one of the bodies, Lila suddenly becomes the new target of the killer. In between dealing with the secrets and dynamics of being a werewolf, the totally not cliche grudge between the vamps and werewolves, being the potential next murder victim of a mysterious and possibly non-human killer, and a hottie with fangs that she sometimes kind of wanted to make out with and other times wanted to rip his throat out, Lila was definitely going to have a totally normal, average life in this new town.
