It wasn't supposed to be anything more than some fun. When Brock Rumlow is suddenly being put onto nightshifts to supervise HYDRA's greatest asset -The Winter Soldier- he is not happy about it. Bucky is finally moving on from his Hydra past. Suddenly he's confronted with someone that he thought was long dead. Hydra had created another super soldier but better than Bucky. She is known as the Alpha Soldier and is better than the Winter Soldier in many ways. What was once believed to be a phantom much like the Winter Soldier was, the Alpha Soldier has been released and back to killing. The Avengers are tasked with hunting and capturing this deadly assassin but there is more to her than Bucky is telling. There is a past between the Winter Soldier and the Alpha Soldier that is racing up on Bucky threatening to shatter his world once again dragging Steve and Tony with.
