Amara was born of Narnia's oldest magic-wild as the wind, fierce as flame. Daughter of Aslan, hidden from prophecy and raised in secret, she has always felt the pulse of the land in her bones and the roar of destiny in her heart. But when four siblings from another world arrive and the White Witch's shadow grows longer, Amara must choose between the life she's known and the queen she was always meant to be. Yet in the midst of roar and rising darkness, Peter Pevensie stands beside her. With steady eyes and unspoken understanding, he offers her not rescue, but respect. Not protection, but partnership. Their connection builds slowly until love grows where only duty was meant to bloom.

"Oh. Milady Ashton, are you going to the ball for King Peter." The young centaur shyly asked Ashton. Ashton crouched down next to her, meeting her eye level with a friendly smile, "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, little one." "You know... The ball thing... Mommy told me it was the King's opportunity to woo a lady of Narnia." She explains with her limited vocabulary and a small lisp. "A courting ball?" Ben asks the little one. "That's it!" She exclaims, "Are you going?" "I guess we will see, we haven't been back to the castle since the war," Ashton tells the five-year-old, sugarcoating her response to avoid disappointing the child. "Ohh." She nodded before leaning down to Ash to whisper in her ear, "My father told me stories from the war, of course not the stories with too much fighting, but he mentioned the greatness of the prophesied. You were always my favorite." She giggles. Ash didn't know what to say as the little centaur bounced away. She stood from the party, needing a minute outside. Edmund followed her after her, wanting to help his dear friend with the news. "Ash, I'm sure there's an explanation." "Yes, a simple one Ed. I left. Your brother owes me nothing. It is his choice. If he wants every spoiled, perfect, primitive, self-centered princess within a hundred miles lining up at his feet. That is his choice and does not concern me." Ashton admits, more negatively than she intended. "This is not going to end well." Ben comments, openly. ╣╠ Ashton returns to Cair Paravel and it is clear that in the two years she spent away, much has changed. ╣╠ Multiple POV ╣╠ Story intertwined with the golden ages after The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. I only own Ashton, Benvolio, and any other characters not in the books or movies. ╣╠
