Clay isn't able to go to school after he gets diagnosed with gastroparesis, a partial paralysis of the stomach. Clay suffers from extreme epilepsy and no one knows how and wants to help him. He has no friends and school is a hell for him. When starts his last year in high school and the class changes, he meets George. Georges mother is a nurse and George is the only one who knows how to act. They become friends and in one mysterious way, Clays seizures get less and less the longer he spends with George.
