Ercassiel a young foreign princess and is the youngest of her siblings being the only girl in a household of two brothers her mother thought it best to go to their ally, King Oropher to ask him to raise her because Ercassiels mother did not want her to grow up and be killed in a war for the throne. Ercassiel watched as her mother was murdered right before her eyes. Oropher could do nothing to save her, but Ercassiel being so young couldn't stand it she wanted to help, but only took a sword to the back and discovered another reason why her mother didnt want her to get involved in a war between blood. Only to find out her second oldest brother became ill and died after her and her mother left for middle earth with her father as well which left the oldest brother to ascend to the throne. She stayed in Mirkwood never wanting to leave for her and Thranduil became best friends and watched each others back. She even stayed by him when he married. The queen so violently turned on him and their child Legolas leaving Thranduil wifeless and Legolas motherless, but Thranduil knew his son was not truly motherless for Ercassiel was there for him she always would be and Legolas was closer with her than he was his own mother.

For thousands of year, since The First Age, Faeryn never left king Thranduil's side. She was his healer, his greatest and only friend. She had seen many, but felt much more how time changes a person, how it changed Thranduil. And so, she wouldn't leave him, not for a thousand years, not even for a million. She would stay, like what she had promised the king. Healing a broken heart wouldn't be easy. Healing the Elven King's broken heart was easier said than done. After disobeying the orders of their King, Sylvanas and Tauriel end up going after the dwarves who ended up escaping and follow them to Laketown, accompanied by Legolas. The three Elves end up being part of the Battle of the Five Armies and from there nothing will ever be the same.
